Manoj Bajpayee’s Next Is A Film On Mahatma Gandhi

Filmmakers Anubhav Sinha and Sudhir Mishra are teaming up for a new theatrical film based on a lesser known chapter of Mahatma Gandhi’s life.

National Award winning actor Manoj Bajpayee will play Gandhi for the first time. Saurabh Shukla is also part of the film in a key role.

Directed by Sudhir Mishra and produced by Anubhav Sinha and Narendra Hirawat while the film is set during India’s Independence. The story focuses on 21 days in Gandhi’s life when he chose to leave Delhi, which was becoming the centre of political power.

The film will explore the personal and political reasons behind Gandhi’s decision and present a different side of his life.

The project also marks Mishra’s return to theatrical cinema after a long break. NH Studioz will present the film which is produced under Benaras Mediaworks.
